Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) sets dates for 2009
Traditionally the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) announced its dates at the beginning of the year and the next edition of the worlds biggest club festival and Europe’s main electronic music conference will take place from 21st to 24th October.
Last years edition attracted 90,000 clubbers to its festival program with more than 700 international DJ’s and acts performing at 44 clubs and venues throughout the city of Amsterdam. ADE’s conference is now recognised as the most important in the field and has sold out for two years in a row, with 2000 professionals attending from 42 countries. This year ADE will be a four day program, enabling delegates to stay tuned to the latest developments in both music and business within the electronic music scene.
‘We truly believe that after the success of last years edition and with all the support we get from the international music industry that ADE 2009 will be sold out again. We have also decided to stay where we are as conference, simply because we like it as it is, but mostly because the Felix Meritis and the Dylan Hotel are both the perfect size for the hands on conference ADE should be!’ says ADE’s general manager Richard Zijlma.

Some kind quotes regarding last years edition!!
“Amsterdam Dance Event is like a Tapas bar where you get a lot of small snacks at one place. Because all DJ's at ADE play for just an hour or so, you get a preview of a lot of different kinds of electronic music at one event." Armin van Buuren, NL
"This year's ADE reminds me of what happens when you take early WMC and mix it with MIDEM. You have lots of parties and then in the day you have panels and exhibits about the real issues surrounding club music currently. All the while, you're exchanging conversation with all the movers and shakers of the industry. Its truly one of dance music's most important weeks on the calendar!" Dave Dresden, USA
“For me this year's ADE was amazing, all the key players were there and some good old fashioned ''word to mouth'', after a very successful release party, definitely helped getting the international offers in for my new album, as well as new collaborations and many other exciting possibilities. What can I say...things came together perfectly!” Don Diablo, NL
"If you are a music producer, dj, promoter, club owner, organiser...anything like that: this is the place everybody is, you're right in the heart of dance music here!" Ferry Corsten, NL
"It's just right. It's not too intense, it's not too boring, it's not too crazy; it's just a bit of everything and unless you're here you won't know what you're missing." John Acquaviva, CA
“ADE 2008 was very enjoyable experience had a good time, great parties, great people and great food. Hope in the future that I can return and be part of it again.” Kevin Saunderson, USA
