Karizma Live @ Dex

To celebrate the opening of the Dex terrace for the summer RAW have flown in one of the most innovative DJ's on the scene to debut on Friday May 2nd. Hot from smashing WMC with his DJ sets, Karizma is joined for the Bank Holiday by RAW resident Zepherin Saint.

With an impressive history of productions and remixes for the likes of Kim English, Mary J Blige, Kenny Bobien, SuSu Bobien's Everything But The Girl, Amira, Lenny Kravitz, Ann Nesby, Ron Carroll, Roy Ayers, Boris Dlugosh, Bob Sinclar, just to name a few. His work has been championed by the likes of Louie Vega, Dj Spinna, Marquis Wyatt, Tony Humphries, Dennis Ferrer and many more.

Karizma plays it like no other, energizing the dance floor with his selections and precision mixing sending crowds into a frenzy worldwide. This is a hot ticket.

RAW at The Dex is the live arm of Brixton based initiative RAW Material. Their fundraising has taken shape and the Raw academy is now in full swing. Just recently 3 students auditioned for Basement Jaxx and were able to work with the award winning group on their fourth coming album. Five students have been chosen for our new development program where they are mentored by industry professionals and get a chance to make an EP and music video.

RAW are also very pleased to announce that Basement Jaxx and Timmy Regisford are now official patrons for the charity.
